Commenting on the recent investment, Chris Steel Chairman of AVPE said, “AVPE shareholders are demonstrating their confidence in the UK aerospace supply chain, despite the uncertainties following the Brexit vote earlier in the year.

Our customers are demanding increased capacity together with improved productivity. The next step in this investment strategy will be to automate the 5-axis milling cell with a robotic pallet changing capability which will enable these machines to run 24/7 with minimal employee intervention.”
