OUR PEOPLE | People Development

AVPE is committed to a policy of employee development through both recruitment and in-house training. The cornerstone for this policy is a minimum of 10% of the workforce being made up of either machining apprentices or back office trainees.

AVPE also signed the Women in Aviation and Aerospace Charter at Farnborough in July 2018, and is committed to building a more balanced and fair industry for women.

Annually, the company is committed to recruiting further machining apprentices and back office trainees covering all business support functions (see careers page).

AVPE’s commitment to employee development is driven by a well-established training matrix, which dovetails employee development needs with the organizational requirements of the business. Wherever possible, AVPE will train and develop its existing workforce to meet changing compliance requirements and those of our client base.
